I don’t think it’s a bad thing to compare mechanics to Kicker. The expression originally comes from R&D themselves about Kicker and Split Cards being essentially the most basic forms of “pay more for more” and “this mode or that mode”. They also don’t mean it literally that mechanics are “just” kicker.

It took me a while to find this video because I was looking for "beeg dungo" in the title

So almost unrelated to this video other than it being the most recent... I wanted to give you guys a big shout out for making Magic in general and Commander in particular accessible. From recommended videos and some other things I've been watching other people's commander content and they do everywhere from really bad to semi-decent jobs of actually showing the cards so the viewer knows what is going on. And I've been playing since Fallen Empires so it's not like I'm new to this, but it's still very appreciated. Keep up the good work.
